A traveling exhibition through history

For 50 years, road safety authorities have implemented numerous structural measures that have changed driving behaviors and saved hundreds of thousands of lives.

To mark this anniversary, how do we highlight the impact of road safety in the daily lives of French citizens over the past 50 years?

OVAL created “On the road to life”, a traveling and immersive exhibition to relive the history of these measures, which have saved so many lives on France’s roads over the past five decades.

• 10 landmark measures that helped reduce road fatalities.
• 10 iconic vehicles, taking French citizens on a journey through each story.

Inside each vehicle, a unique sound experience based on INA archives transported visitors back in time.

The exhibition toured France during July 2022, setting up in seven cities across the country.

A media and social media campaign amplified the event, giving this anniversary the resonance it deserved.
